SIDC Audio Visual Solutions

SIDC teamed up with Benga Designs to provide a full turn key outdoor IP rated LED Signage Solution for Carmichael College, including all hardware and signage management software to ensure a simple to use solution that is stands out day and night.

SIDC were engaged by the electrical contractor for the upgrade of St Joseph’s Primary School’s Hall in North Ipswich. We worked to implement a high quality solution with an extremely user friendly interface. 

SIDC were engaged by Kilcoy State School to provide a Projector Solution for their hall.  The existing hall did not have a projector installed in the initial build, so SIDC were able to design from scratch a simple cost effective solution.

We provided the Epson EB-L610U Projector, with HDMI connectivity provided by the Kramer WP-580T HDBaseT Wallplate and Control via a Jed T470 Controller.

For the Christmas School holidays, Westside Christian College engaged SIDC to provide upgrades for 6x Classrooms with Epson EB-695Wi Interactive Projectors for their Primary School campus.

Mueller College were requiring new presenter displays for MPAC (Mueller Performing Arts Centre). SIDC provided Panasonic 75″ LED Displays designed for up to 24/7 use, more than enough to endure countless performances.

Mueller College made renovations to the Mueller Performing Arts Centre (MPAC) to install a new meeting room beside the public cafe.  

SIDC has implemented a 75″ UHD Display with an AppleTV for Wireless Connection of iPad and Mac OS-X devices.  

SIDC were approached to provide a simpler Signage CMS solution for the new tenancy listing video wall deployed at 324 Queen Street. 

SIDC was approached to upgrade the audio system for Coombabah State School’s multipurpose hall, which was built during the BER funding days.  The school wanted to do away with having to patch in a sound desk when ever they needed audio.  

We have utilised the latest Dante digital audio technology, combined with the performance and reliability of Yamaha Pro Audio and Commercial Audio products…

Springwood Central State School has recently upgraded two rooms with the latest IFP50 Series Interactive Displays from ViewSonic.  Opting for motorised height adjustable trolleys allows teachers the flexibility with positioning and accessibility, with the younger prep students able to access the interactive surface when at it’s lowest height.  Raising to full height allows all kids sitting at their desks to have an unimpeded view of the display.

SIDC undertook the upgrade of a number of classrooms at Mt Samson State School, utilising the Epson EB-685Wi Interactive Projector, with Speakers and New Whiteboards.

Wynnum State High School has rolled out another batch of Epson Projector Upgrades.  Here in the science labs, we are using an Epson EB-685W Ultra-Short Throw Projector with a Microsoft Wireless Display adaptor.  This allows teachers to stand at the work bench facing students without any cable trip hazards.

Hudson’s Cafe @ Muelle College engaged SIDC to install a digital signage / menu board solution. As a space that is used within school hours for staff, parents and students, whilst also being utilised after hours for events / catering, it was important to have a solution to provide flexibility with content display. 

Here at Mueller College’s new Film, Drama and Arts Precinct, SIDC was approached to provide an 85″ 4K Cinema Experience. 

Here at MottoMotto Garden City, we are utilising DLP Laser Projection and the EasySignage solution to provide a unique brand experience.  The projector used is a BenQ Short Throw Laser which is maintenance free and designed to run for 20,000 hours.

Coral Coast Christian School approached SIDC for solutions for 3x Learning Spaces. For the Kindy and Prep to Year 2 classrooms, accessibility and resolution were paramount to allow the youngest children to utilise the interactive surface and to give a crystal clear image for children seated on the floor directly in front. For the Year 3 to 4 Classroom, the school requested a larger image with interactivity as the children are taller and the general viewing habit is from behind a desk (need to ensure clear line of sight for the image)

The low roof line as well as a high ambient lighting resulted in the deployment of TCL 75″ displays either side of the stage

Epson Ultra Short Throw Solutions

SIDC has been working with Carmichael College and Cornerstone Electrical to deliver a campus wide upgrade of the PA System in line with the new Administration Building and Sports Court New Builds.

We have utilised a Dante based network system using Yamaha Commercial Audio, Kramer Electronics and Audinate products to provide a quality system with flexibility to handle the future growth stages of this expanding college.

In an environment where technical drawings are viewed, as per the AETM guidelines we need to ensure a larger image size to maintain a better than 1:4 viewing ratio (height of the screen vs furthest seating position).

For their newly renovated library space, Coombabah State School wanted a large interactive flat panel display that was capable of wirelessly displaying content via AirPlay (Apple iPads) and from Windows Laptops.

The 75″ ViewSonic IFP7550-2 was the perfect display for this, and when partnered with the North Bayou TW-50 Motorised Stand, is capable of dropping the display to sit 10mm above the trolley legs so students from Prep to Year 6 can utilise the screen to it’s potential

If you look very closely, we have deployed a Yamaha Commercial Audio solution with Phonak Hearing Augmentation.

Mayfield State School has engaged SIDC to install another ViewSonic IFP6550 Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) display, providing a highly accessible interactive solution for this Prep classroom.

Here in the new Mueller College Arts Precinct, the school required a large image that will be able to punch through plenty of natural and artificial lighting. 

Here is our EasySignage solution in action. Featuring a ViewSonic 55″ Signage Display, SIDC was able to deploy a simple and cost effective signage display for the Scarborough Business Centre foyer.

Noosa Christian College requested a demonstration of the ViewSonic 65″ Interactive Flat Panel for their Library Resource Centre.  I took a demonstration unit to site on a fixed height trolley, and within 10 minutes of the demonstration being complete the school had taken ownership of this display.

SIDC was engaged to fit out audio for a dream house build in Narangba.  The key area of this entertainer is this outdoor pavilion equiped with Kramer All-Weather Speakers and Yamaha MusicCast audio.
